What can I do with 48 plastic baubles

I could have posted in Christmas but I'll try here first.
I have 48 silver and gold plastic baubles that my nan got for me. They are lovely but the gold doesn't go with my other tree baubles, they are more rose gold.

So, what can I make/produce out of them? And how can I achieve it?

I am a knitter so not great at creating many other things.

Are you on Pinterest? I'm sure I've seen some things on there like baubles covered in scraps of fabrics or pretty headed pins, and wreaths made out of baubles. Often they link to tutorials if you're unsure how to go about making stuff.

Fancy decorative wreaths? String them into a garland? Hang them from a series of wires to make an 'invisible tree'?, glue them together to make a pyramid shaped tree?

As Magic says, Pinterest is a great place for inspiration!

If they're cheap I would cover them in knitted or crocheted yarn. If they're nice I would create another tree out of tree branches and display them elsewhere in the house or the porch. Either way, Pinterest is your friend .

Make a bauble wreath?

I made a bauble wreath.

It's an unwound, wire coathanger with the baubles threaded on, when it is full, retwist the hanger closed and hang it up. It looks lovely hanging in our conservatory.

Ok good suggestions, I will look on ravelry.
I'm probably going to make a garland though with some nice ribbon perhaps.
