Sticking stuff.....

Rubbish title I know but I'm poorly and my brain doesn't work!

Every year the DCs make calendars for the family. I got bored with the old cardboard and stickers and pictures job so this year we have porcelain tree decs. We are planning to decorate the decorations, stick them on card and add a ribbon and a calendar blank. That way, I hope, the decorations will them be removed next year and added to trees etc.

So, what can I attach the decs to the card with? Or, do we just attach the calendar to the dec and do without the card?

I was thinking about that stuff they use to attach samples to magazine pages etc, would that last a year and does it actually exist outside of publishing?

You can get sticky foam squares from Wilkos (the craft section), or sticky Sellotape dots from most stationers.

Yes, sticky dots - there are temporary and permanent ones. Not sure if the temporary ones would hold that well.

Thanks for the ideas.

I'm thinking I might just stick the calendar to the decoration - less to stick on and remove that way so the temporary dots might do their job.
