This school hol DP is going to get my web on line and going the whole hog- going to supply with all TLC products, Karen Foster, 7 gypsies, AMM, Bazzill lil davis etc.... basically nearly all crafty products.

Feeling v. excited!!! More because I will be able to see all these things and try them out!!!

Figure that with two babies at home I will have to work from home and an ideal opportunity to put my dreams into a reality- (emoticon for getting all nostalgic)

It is something I have always wanted to do and so I now have the chance and DP a wizz with comp so going to put him to good use too!

I am so excited!!!

Do you mind if ~I use you ladies for market research????

What is your average craft spend?
What are your fave products?
What would you prefer- free p&p over a certain amount or a free gift, say out of three choices???

Thanks ladies any advice or ideas muchly appreciated!!!

How exciting. I'd love to be able to that but just haven't the time.

I don't have any fave products, I love all sorts, whatever catches my eye at the time- LOVE Blonde Moments papers and also Basic Grey but then again I love most papers. I don't like thin or cheap and tacky looking.

I tend not to buy papers on line unless i KNOW what i want as I find it hard to 'see' the paper.

My spend is not admissible here I spend far too much but am going to have to go on a stash diet now

I'd prefer realistic postage and I know that there's no such thing as a 'free' gift lol. I know that a lot of sponsors on UKScrappers offer free postage to get the customers to buy from them.

MN have a section on here for small businesses- if you pay to advertise you can then have the power of MN behind you and you can use MN to promote your shop. Also UKScrappers have a sponsor section and if you use the site you can use certain forums to promote any special offers you have and also there's a forum where people ask who has what in stock

Daren't go public about what I spend a week but I will buy from places that offer free P&P if you spend over £10.00 as long as their prices are not dearer than normal, if you know what I mean.

I don't like free gifts because they are usally crap or things they can't sell. Not saying that your free gifts will be crap.

I don't have fave things cuz I like everything to do with crafting, the more unusual things the better.

I bought some backing paper from JM and a few other things, they were excellent quality & a good price and they were deliverd real quick.
That reminds me I need to place another order soon.

Hope this helps a little bit.

Good for you!
I try not to spend too much (I love Sale items !)
P&P is difficult - I don't like it when places charge a flat rate of p&p - you may only want a packet of brads & it will state £3 P&P
I love free gifts

I like free P&P over say, £60 (cos I normally spend more than that) . Would rather that than a 'free gift'. Dont really have favourites as such, I like trying new stuff and things tend to go in trends IYSWIM. hth

Ave spend- £30
Fave products- papers, embellishments (not stickers!), alphabets- can never get just the 'right ones' (always thought if someone said buy the right colour card from us then i'll cut, which die alphabet would suit? I'd love them forever- could get it just right then); personally free postage- and dh's stuff always sells better with free p & p 9 different market tho`)
