Any good sites for decorating, or handy tips?

Bought (well) in advance as is for DDs third birthday (will be two very soon), and Im.hopibg that decorating / stocking it will be a hobby for me over the coming year.

Im going to furnish it with ebayed Playmobil as I think it will be more robust, and the old fashioned furniture isnt really to my taste.

Therefore decor will be simple and quite modern....everything ive seen so far is old fashioned!

Look in craft shop for scrapbooking papers. There are some lovely designs that will look great as wallpaper and will be to scale. A couple of A4 sheets would cost £2-£3. You might actually find some free printable scrapbook papers on craft websites.

jennifersprintables have masses of patterns for wallpaper, floors etc. all arranged by period and totally free. Info about other sites same page.

just glue them on with pva, either wrapping paper , craft paper or those printables Showtime linked to.
Buy simple wooden furniture and paint bright colours with tester pots, use scraps of fleece for cushions, rugs. You could also glue fleece down for carpet.
You can buy tiny canvasses from The Works...paint this in a modern art style. Stick a handbag mirror /compact mirror on the wall

Have a look on here for ideas

if you need any soft furnishings made then let me know as I would love to do stuff like that. DD was never keen on playing with dolls or dolls houses; I was still playing with mine (albeit in a different way) when I was 14!
