I've made some bunting and I want to stick on felt letters.
Can I use pva glue for this? Or maybe pritt stick? ive looked on hobbycraft and seen adhesive spray but it costs £10 and anyway I don't need to wash it.
Thanks

I would use fabric glue personally

You can try pva but put something heavy on top so it dries flat. You can also get tacky pva which is good.

Don't even try with a pritt stick!

I use PVA to stick letters, as long as it is spread thinly and you don't want to wash it it is fine.

I'd also use fabric glue, or even some small dots of super glue. PVA may work but may un peel itself after a while. Wouldn't even bother with prit stick, it hardly even sticks paper Hmm

Thanks, I think I will try with pva spread thinly.
I haven't got a local craft type shop which is a bit of a pain so its travelling miles or internet.

As an alternative, can you stitch them on with a visible running stitch using something like embroidery floss or yarn?

This is a good site with glue advice :-)
