Is anyone a TLC consultant?
If so do you get a decent amount of business or not...???
What does everyone think of it?

What is it?

It's a scrapbooking consulltant thingie... You pay £115 for your kits... and get 25% off rrp to sell to friends/family/whoever and you have to spend $60 every 6months... not sure for how long. Oh its an american company intially but now moving over here too.

Can't make my mind up to do it or not... don't really know anyone else who scrapbooks so pretty hard to sell to no one!!!

Search for it on ebay... there is a woman selling the kits on there (I think her shop is memories and more???!). Have asked for a catalogue so I can see the prices of things etc and see whether are cheap enough and nice enough for ppl to want to buy them.

Have you tried asking on UKscrapping?? They are mental about scrapping on that site. Pixie or Yorkiegirl are mad about scrapping too, try asking them?

hiya!! i have been tempted by TLC, it's been over here for a while now.
If you sign up for the artist thingy (kit sent to you with project ideas) you "fufill" your 6months minimum quota without selling/buying anything else. I've heard good things and the stuff is really nice. the new stuff is gorge and they're coming out with some digi stuff soon too.

you can go for the basic pack if you wanted but you'll save lots if you add the add-on pack.

I nearly signed up a couple of times. I saw first came across tlc at a craft fair/expo wonderful lady really had me in palm of her hand so to speak, she had lots of ready made stuff and introduced me to paperbag books!!

Only thing or should that be person who stopped me was dh If i had signed up then i'd have been a founder member and would had a free website.

The good thing about it is you can go for it as a selling thing or just as a way of getting stash for less (altho you have to remember shipping from US)

right rambled on.....

I think I have pretty much decided to do it just for the stuff... really... and see how we go. But not going to tell DP how much it costs

Still waiting for the catalogue tho just to make sure it is worth it's while and worth me doing it- if the products are sellable.

There are a few consultants on UKScrappers. Lily-my-lovely is one I think
