An experiment.......yay or nay

I am experimenting with words on the front of cards at the moment and wrote some nice words (I thought), did nice chalking around them and was stuck....so I bunged a load of daisies on it. Does it work or not? Honest Opinions please. What else could I have put round it and would the wording been better mounted or directly on the card as I have done.

At least neither of us asked it it was you.

Whizzz · 10/07/2006 21:43

LOL - I had to bite my lip

I want to get away from fecking flowers really badly, but I keep on putting them on as most of the dies I have are .... flowers!!!

did think about seagulls/clogs/explosives, but went against that thought

Looks fine to me. My personal preference is to have the words inside the card but barring that I don't think it needed mounting or anything.

SoupDragon · 10/07/2006 21:46

It's a dynamite design. Snort.

Whizzz · 10/07/2006 21:46

hearts would have worked too maybe or butterflies ??

SoupDragon · 10/07/2006 21:47

Can I be really picky? The underneath daisy in the top left corner is too close to the "you" or needs rotating so the petal isn't in the way. But that is pathetically petty and picky.

Actually Whizza, I am just about to try a bit of your minimalism. Really I am trying to see how many cards I can get out of a little pack of silver tools! What a stingy cow I am

Wish you'd said that before, I have packed it in cellphane & sealed it now for sale and used one of my last stickers....have to get it out now...grumble grumble.....

Great tool card. I think minimal works well - elegant and simple. If a pair of pliers can be called elegant...

UCM · 11/07/2006 10:37

Love your tool UCM

I don't think blokes are fussed by detailed cards anyway - heathens
