Hi - I was wondering if anyone has one of these that they can recommend. I am considering knitting dolls, in our original uniform (or as close as I can get) to give to my colleagues at our next reunion.

I have just been to our 30th reunion, so would have plenty of time to do this - and to find exactly the right, awful green for the uniform dress!

Jean Greenhowe has a nurse in her 'Mascot Dolls' book of patterns. I have knitted it and they are quite easy to do for a good knitter. They are about 9 inch high so not small tho...Just google her!

How about this originally from the Ravelry site.

apologies, I know you're not really this old, but it's the most lifelike one I could find.

Thank-you for the link, PeterParker, and I will have a look for that book, Happypiglet. Thank you both.

Update - I've found the right JG book, and bid on a copy on eBay - thanks!

Should you be unsuccessful on e-bay, my local knitting shop is selling loads of Jean Greenhowe books. I have the one with the nurse doll in it as well, so even if Mrs Brggs can't help...
