Santa Scout Knitting Pattern

Hello,

I haven't posted on here before so I hope I do it right.

I am looking for a knitting pattern of a Santa scout - my 7 year old ds has finished reading Diary of a Wimpey kid (Cabin Fever), and is now desperate to have a Santa scout (a knitted version). He wants the scout to watch over him till xmas. We have just been through a miscarriage (second one) and after seeing ds so down in the dumps it is great to see him excited about something. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I have looked online for a pattern but no luck. Maybe I just need a elf knitting pattern? (I am not a good knitter but my mother in law will help me)

Thank you

Can you do something with this one?
Toys are quite easy to knit, the pieces are small and its just a case of sewing up carefully. It's a few pounds for the pattern but you or your MIL might have oddments of wool.

Alan Dart always have lots of character

this a bit different but I've made some of these and they are great little friends we bring out at Christmas.

Big thank you :-) Will double check the image in the book then e-mail the closest to my MIL (and hope she can make a start for me). Really appreciate your help.
