Need to order some craft bits...

Hello crafting ladies, I'm organising crafts for a church holiday club later in the summer and need to order clay, powder paint, test tubes and glue spreaders.

Can anyone suggest some good web-sites for me to look at, please?

So far I've only tried Baker Ross and ELC. ELC glue spreaders are 50p each - bit pricey when I want to buy 20!

Hope you can help...

The A to Z site I linked to on your other thread is very good IMO.

You can get packs of 8 (or 10?) glue spreaders from The Range for 99p

Hula is the range a shop?

Whizz, thanks, you're a star. 2 great sites.

Do you reckon colouring play sand with powder paint's going to work? It'd be nice not to order lots of paint only to discover it was a daft idea...

Yes, The Range is a big shop - often on retail outlets. It sells all sorts of things including furniture, pet stuff, outdoor stuff but also has a pretty good craft section.

Thanks Hula, don't think they have them in Scotland...

Food colouring seems to be a better method

Thanks Whizz, also has the advantage that I can try it out first rather than having to buy powder paint.

Have sand in sand pit and food colouring in cupboard - will go try!
