playdoh recipe

I'm sure this has been done time again but I can't find a simple playdoh recipe in the search section. Flour, salt, water, food colouring, cream of tartar - is that it? in what quantities and what do you do with them, please?

1 cup of flour
1 cup of water
colouring, liquid or powder
1/2 cup of salt
3 tsp cream of tartar

mix together in a pan

cook stil lit comes away from the sides of the pan, stirring constantly, knead. Allow to cool. Give to child. Go and read Heat

forgot the oil, 1/2 tablespoon of ordinary cooking oil
