present for my dad

hi this is my first post on mumsnet so sorry if this is a bit long.
I am a teen but thought that you might have some good ideas, me and my dad have had a very rocky relationship since i was about 9 but recently he has been amazing and we have been getting on so much better and i just wanted to make him something really amazing i am already quite crafty and i can knit, sew and crochet i would be really grateful for any ideas.

I would suggest something like a scarf or some gloves. Do you use Ravelry? If not go sign up, it's full of great knitting and crochet patterns and a lot are free.

Socks, socks , socks . There is something very special about a pair of hand knitted socks and they are not hard.
