Does anyone know this stitch?

I wondered if anyone knew if this type of cast off had a name. I am not familiar with this stitch. Here goes! (k1, p1) 28 times, p1 insert right hand needle into 2nd then 1st st on left hand needle as if to knit 2 sts together and slip both sts off needle together k1 then slip both sts over p1.

Try this YouTube video. Although the demonstration is using double rib (k2, p2) the principle for shaping the v is the same. It is called a mitre.
