I bought a pallette of chalks yesterday and althought I paid 16.00 for them, they are brilliant. I have never used them before but I am a massive fan of hammered/textured paper and they work so well on it and with the fabric paint.......well I am on a cloud!

Somewhere on Picturetrail you can get "image URLs" which gives yoiu the URL (oddly enough) of a particular image.

Instead of chalks, I use artists pastels - got a large box cheap from The Works once.

I worship at the altar that is Pebbles INc for their I-kan-dee chalks. They are the absolute gods amongst chalks.

Dyan who owns Art from the heart and co-designer of Blonde Moments swears by them and told me to bin the chalks I had- i was very sceptical but bought some I-kan-dee chalks and absolutely love them
