Really fancy attempting my own wreath decoration this year but cannot find the wooden style wreath forms anywhere. Does anyone know where they can be purchased - preferably online?

Any reason it need to be wood? A pool noodle or pipe lagging from DIY store are cheap, secure in the size you want with duct tape. Wrap with ribbon or cheap voile/fabric and decorate with flowers.

There's a straw wreath going on Ebay if you're quick :)

Also plenty of wire frames on Ebay which you would probably wrap with cheap batting/wadding then cover with strips of fabric if you want a fuller look, otherwise buy a pine garland and wrap it round

Of course if you want the real thing then you would wrap it with fresh ivy

Anyway, Ebay is your answer - just type Wreath in the Crafts section :)

Thanks Kellestar and HeyJudith for these ideas. The main reason I was looking for the wood style form is because I was thinking of trying the peg wreath and I think the base needs to be flat. Not sure the wire or padded style would work when fixing the pegs.

If you have a works near you my local branch-Southend had white painted wooden ones in the craft bit for £3.99

I've always made my own, using whatever climbing plant's available - just strip the leaves then start folding/weaving it into a ring, easy.
