Anyone know this book?

It may be set in the 19th century. It's about a photographer coming to take a family portrait. It's a large family and they've saved up for this. The mother then runs off with the photographer. The husband finds someone to marry and take on him and his eight (approx) children, probably near York.

My DSis is desperate to find it again.
