How can I make it look more special?

I have wrapping paper, plain paper, nice fabric scraps (and sewing machine), maybe some ribbons, buttons...

and zero creativity

Tie to a helium ballon and place in a pretty box.

oh that's nice, helium balloons are always good value for festiveness!

Tie it with ribbon as if it is a parcel, and knot a fresh flower eg gerbera into the ribbon.

Make a drawstring bag for it from a scrap of silk or lace.

Tie a ribbon with a pretty or quircky keyring around the envelope.

If you have a nice photo of yourself and the recipient, copy and enlarge if necessary, and use it as wrapping paper or to cover the front of the envelope.
