Leaving presents for 7/8 yr olds

My DS is moving school next week, in another country, and I thought it would be nice for him to give out small token presents to his school friends that he's leaving behind.

I was thinking badges or friendship bracelets but I'm not too sure.

Looking for some inspiration really or other ideas??

what about small flags of your destination? Where are you going?

Maybe something map based so it ties in with your move.

My dd likes to a school where people come and go often and a postcard when you get there is lovely

Oh I like the flag idea. We are going to holland so maybe something to do with clogs or windmills?
