Is it suitable for a baby's hat? (crochet)

definitely, its a nice soft acrylic rather than skreeky and itchy.

I'm working with t he -ply at the moment and it is lovely and soft, but a bt splitty. Not sure about the DK

I would prefer Sirdar Snuggly for a few pence more but that's just me - I know lots of people love the Stylecraft.

I found Stylecraft to crochet up not very snuggly.

SoupDragon · 07/09/2013 11:56

I've not had any splitty problems with the DK.

I've just bought some Stylecraft DK for the first time and found it a bit "thin". Have I just got a few bad balls? I usually use Hayfield Bonus as my standard cheap wool but couldn't get to the wool shop I needed.
