Can you help me make a Fix It Felix Jr outfit for my DS?

Have had a quick google but I know there are lots of clever crafty people on here :). Would love to try making something for my DS (just turned 4) who absolutely adores Felix

I guess shirt/trousers would be easy to get, would need to put name badges on. The tricky bit would be the tool belt and golden hammer (Disney store did briefly sell one but I'd rather try making the belt myself).

I am basically new to creating things so I could use a few tips/ideas please :)

Can of gold spray paint and toy plastic hammer....the belt is easy too....what you need is a broadish leather belt from a charity shop...get an adults and cut it down, retaining the buckle...then make a pocket to superglue on the side...choose some canvass fabric in the same colour leather (beige) as the belt...you can get that from either a market stall or just cut something else up...gloves...he will be too small for real workmen's gloves so what about looking for small gardening gloves in beige.
