I went to DB,s shop today, was bored and just decided to go on the off chance, im glad i did because she had an exhibition-Make and Take.

I sat with her and she helped me make a card for my friend who has moved to a new house.
She was very nice and chatty and showed me how to work with vellum (which i havent done before)

I was sat next to a 10 year old boy who was making a fathers day card, it was really nice to see people of all ages crafting.

how lovely Jenk1!! and how funny that you went on off chance and it was a make and take.

did you do embossing on the vellum? I have been meaning to work more with vellum but haven't really gotten round to it. nearest I've got to it is vellum tags - the papermania ones with metal around it.

I've seen lovely effects where vellum is added on top of details and sesigns to make it softer.
