What to knit for granny?

My grandad just passed away, I'm sure people will be sending flowers and the like but want to knit her something so she can keep it, she likes knitted things.
It can't be outdoor wear as she doesn't get out and about.
Any ideas?
Something fairly quick too.

Lap tray? Tissue box cover. Glasses case. Or armchair arm cover for remote control and other things needed at hand. What does she use everyday which you could make pretty? :-).

I like those, she likes tv so anything that can be used within arms reach.
