Embroidering a teddy.

Does anyone know how I would go about finding someone to embroider the foot of a teddy bear please? Doing it myself is most definitely not a possibility! I have tried companies that embroider tshirts and things but they have said their machines won't work on a fat teddy foot! I have no idea where to start looking for a teddy embroiderer.

TIA

Well....it would usually be done before the bear was stuffed...it's nigh on impossible to embroider on a stuffed bear. Are they bears you are making yourself? If so, you will need to get the work done on the patten pieces rather than the actual bear...or even on fabric over and over...then cut out the foot piece from the embroidered fabric.

If it is on one pre-existing bear...very difficult. Could possibly be done by skillful seamstress but hard work!

Thank you so much for your reply. The plan was to embroider a Harrods bear foot for my godsons Christening with his name and DOB. Nevermind...back to the drawing board!
