Anyone got any favourites?

What's their use beside rowcounting?

ThanksSmile

Red heart and lion brand both have good apps with lots of patterns. US terms though, so you need to switch around. Crochet and knitting iirc Smile

Thanks, from the number of posts I got apps for knitting/crochet don't seem to be very popular Grin!

To be honest, I don't use them that much, I find ravelry and Pinterest much better. Though there was a Christmas bauble app, with a few different patterns I used last year that was very good. Did you look at the App Store?

I use an app called Penulimate. It isn't a crochet/knitting app, it's a notebook app you can write in with a stylus/finger. I use it for patterns -take a screen shot of a pattern on a web site and use it as a background. I can then cross off rows as I go and make notes.

Thanks you both,

That sounds interesting Soup I'll have a look.

I have steered clear of pinterest so far, I feel that with Mumsnet, fb, raverly I already spend faaaar too much time on the web!! Smile

I use Pinterest as a scrapbook. I Do NOT Browse. That would be a disaster.

Hi, I occasionally use JknitHDLite if I'm doing a lacy pattern. It has a highlighter bar so you can keep track of the row you're on - and you can zoom in on it if you're knitting without your glasses to hand too... You have to import your patterns as PDF files though

I read ages ago that Ravelry were doing an app but haven't visited for ages. Might pop across now actually!
