Attic24 Granny Strip - help with edging please

Hi all, I have almost finished my first attempt at the attic24 granny stripe. I wanted to do the sc edging shown in the picture but am not sure how to work out how many stitches to do, especially on the sides that have the row ends. On the other edges am I right in thinking I do one stitch between each of the tc in the clusters but then do I do one or more stitch between clusters? Last time I tried edging a granny square I think I put too many stitches in and ended up with a wavy edge .

I did an attic24 granny stripe a few weeks ago and basically copied her original one exactly. If you read her notes carefully, the first row of the border is a round of treble granny clusters not single/double crochet. I got confused when I did it as there appears to be two different pages which show the finishing of the blanket, one with instructions, the other without.

I made a granny stripe last summer and made a stupid mistake in the middle too :) I was doing double width stripes and shoved a single one in by mistake. I turned the blanket round and made the stripes run vertically instead!

With edgings, I tend to try and allocate a number of stitches to each row as I do the edge. So DC (US SC) gets one, TC (US DC) gets 3 etc. It should be apparent early on if this isn't working for the actual blanket at which point I rip back the edge and adjust the amount.
