Thanks again to Yorkiegirl and her friend who came and gave us a fantastic night last night.

I am now pondering which further purchases to make and was planning new layout in bed last night, think i finally fell asleep at about 1am!

Oh, tell us more, what did you make, buy,etc etc

BouncyTigger · 07/06/2006 09:32

Fantastic night, so much better than a Virgin Vie or Pampered Chef party Grin Yorkiegirl and her friend, you are a stars for coming down to Sheffield.

I bought Primas, lovely basic grey papers, chalks, brads and rub-ons. It was soooooo nice to have loads and loads of papers to look at and choose from and the prices were good too.

Just waiting for dh to find out I've bought papers - cos I think he's going to go mad he keeps saying I've got too many Shock

BouncyTigger · 07/06/2006 09:33

Ooh, forgot to say we all made a mini-tag book to take home.

katzg · 07/06/2006 09:57

like BT says we made tag books, i had a go at using chalks which is something i've not done before and was a bit daunted by. Shown some techinques for inking, all in all it was just great!

despite being given free range i didn't buy as much as i thought i would! but think i will get some more stuff from the website in the future, it was sooo nice to see all the papers and bits in the flesh, see what size they really were colours ect. i am now going to go through my next few layouts and decide what extra stuff i need!

KG, we need to have a scrapping evening when all the stash arrives so we can try everything out.

katzg · 07/06/2006 11:27

oh yes - if we wait until Hula is back from the states i'm sure she'll join us too!

YG and I are on a design team for a scrapbooking shop.

Don't think we're allowed to post the name on here as we're in the DT but if anyone wants to know then email me or YG. I'm sure you have YG's email but mine is thepixiefish at yahoo dot co dot uk

Yorkiegirl · 07/06/2006 20:23

No I haven't started a business. It's my friend Belinda's site. I'm not going to post a link as I am on her design team and don't want to be accused of linking to it to tout for business.
I do help Belinda with the business and I would love to be able to run my own but its not something I will be doing for a very long time! Too many other things to do!

hulababy · 07/06/2006 21:21

I went to the party :) It was fab! Had great fun and even did another layout for my tag book earlier. I was very restraine din purchases, but purely because of going on holiday next week. Need anothe rone in a couple of months!

Katz/Bouncytigger - I am def on for a scraping night :)

I'll post a link as I am not linked in anyway and I was so impressed: \link{http://www.scripscrapping.co.uk/\ScripScrapping}

BouncyTigger · 08/06/2006 15:50

You should do the next one then KG, we can all save our pennies for a few months then we have another one.

Still dreaming of the lovely papers they had................
