Scrapbook/Folder for Teacher Present

Please could someone help me out.
I vounteered to collect for teacher. (why, why!!)
Alongside money collection, I have asked each child to draw her a picture.
So now I need a folder/scrapbook/photo album, to hold A4 paper. But I think there are 31 or 32 children.
I looked in my local town. scrapbooks, but they were really cheap and nasty and £1.99. Or they only has 20 pages, not enough. Hardly any were A4 size.
Or Paperchase and Boots had photo albums, but there weren't A4 size, and they were the other end of the spectrum, £18.99.

Parents often don't give, and if they do, they give £2 or £5 max. Fine. But I want to buy her a presnt, some vouchers, so I don't want to sepnd £20 on the folder.

I know many people in the Arts and Crafts sections are so skilled, so arty, please what do you advise?

If I ordered from amazon, e-bay, I need to do it today/tomorrow, to ensure getting it.

How cheap and nasty is too cheap? My kids have some basic scrapbooks from HobbyCraft with 32 pages. You'd need to decorate the front cover, but otherwise they are passable. Not sure how much they were, but doubt it was much as I let them use them for everyday sticking.

It's fairly easy to make your own hand sewn book. Like this - Japanese book binding.

(actually it's very easy to do - the sewing doesn't need to be complicated.)

Definitely make your own.

Just get 2 pieces of A4 card and put a piece on the front, one on the back - hole punch each picture (and the covers obviously) and just weave some pretty ribbon through the holes!

Obviously, you could decorate the front and the back if you so wish!

That will cost you the price of 2 pieces of card and some ribbon. Call it £3!
