Does anyone have any recommendations?

What sort of projects are you envisaging sewing?

Groat, I'm going to make a blackout blind first - so 2x pieces of material in a rectangle shape. After that, I'm going to make a simple curtain cover for an built in cupboard (so a hemmed rectangle with some sort of pole at the top).

And after that, I want to make bunting , and maybe some simple tops for me (hopefully!).
