How do I choose my batting?

I've got 6" squares which I'm going to quilt around, so I know I need to have a batting that will allow 6" squares. How can I tell? I was thinking of buying this stuff but I'm not sure if its going to be right.

Different waddings have different recommendations about the maximum distance between rows of stitches. Unfortunately, the one you linked to doesn't say what the max is for that type but if this one is the same, then the max distance is 10" which will make it fine to use for your 6"squares Not sure it is the same wadding though - the spelling is slightly different but I suspect that 6" should be OK because a lot of the cotton waddings allow at least 8".

Which I found really useful.
