I've read through threads but just need a little advice please!
About to purchase a new machine and really want to get the most for my money.
I'll be (hopefully) making baby clothes, little household items, crafty type things.
Nothing too huge but I don't want a basic/beginners machine if it's not going to stand up to more than really simple/lightweight stuff.
So am I better going to John Lewis and spending a fortune my money there or online such as sewing machines direct?
Any in particular from either that you can recommend?
Also, any good places for starter patterns? I'm after baby girl outfits really. I've seen loads of material on eBay, would you recommend that or anything else?
