Tardis laplander hat pattern

Gidday all

This may sound daft but I need to get a pattern for a DR Who peruvian beanie... or find someone who can knit it for me As I am in NZ a pattern might be easier :)
I need this as my 5 yo has decided to dress as Dr Who for halloween and I am supposed to be the tardis.

Does anyone have any suggestions re finding a pattern, my googlefu seems to be failing me.

Thanks Trumpton, but was hoping that if I got one all knitted up and classy looking my wee lads would be keen to keep wearing them - as I hate throwing money at something and then it sits around unworn with me wistfully thinking of the money spent :P
