The Big Shot- a few questions

I can't believe I am contemplating this after only getting my sizzix at Christmas but there you go. One of our favourite sites Wink has the big shot and sidekick on offer for £85! (And 3 dies and paper) Shock. So it's their fault really.

Anyway, my questions.....
It says it is batch 2, so does that mean the cutting pads issue has been resolved?

Has anyone got experience of cutting -normal sizzix dies, quickutz and alphabars with this machine? Would it be worth keeping my sizzix for these?

Is the machine fairly easy to use, I am worried that it looks quite 'plasticky'.

dont know a lot about them but the crop I go to the lady who runs it has a couple of big shots and uses all the normal sizzix dies on it.

im quite happy with my bigshot. but i have never used the sizzix, so cant compare
personally, i wouldnt bother, unless you get masses and masses of use out of it. just spend th e money on more yummy dies..

I have BS and find it really easy to operate. I've never used a sizzix tho! I have been lucky and haven't had any problems with mine.

I sold my sizzix as soon as i got my Big Shot.

Sarahs cards sell them for £75 and do free p and p on orders over £25. \link{http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/shop/221/113/114/index.htm\here}

I like the speed and efficiency of Sarah - much better than the other site.

If you want one get one and sell the sizzix. It's faba dn does the same plus more than the sizzix.

You can cut 6 sizzlets at the same time, great for doing alphabets

I love sarahs cards..mainly because sarah herself is a lovely person..lol Spend wayy too much money at the crop when she brings her bits with her and its always lovely bits but I digress...

You should be able to sell your sizzix quite easily which means you should get at least £35 back on it.
