Student DD has bought a dress, made of fairly heavy stiff cotton, that tends to bunch when she walks so she asked me to fit a slip/underskirt. The dress has a pocket at hip-height in each of the side-seams.
Which is best: poke the pocket through the side-seams of the slip (so the pocket will end up next to the skin) or leave the pocket 'sandwiched' between the skirt and the slip?
