I've got a large mirror in the living room over the sofa, which has a painted silver frame. I want to make it a 'warmer' colour (though still metallic) and was wondering whether a thin layer of gold spray paint- so the silver still shines through - would work. Any thoughts? Or maybe I could try sponging gold paint on?
