Bubble....I have never asked for anyone to link my site here....dont need anyone to do it for me as the site is holding its own quite happily and keeping me very busy.
I really worry about my site being linked here on A&C as I know only too well that some MNetters are sitting waiting to pounce and accuse me of blatantly abusing the MN policies on advertising. This is something that I have never and have no intention of ever doing. Prior to the site going live I was always one of the bods who notified MN HQ if a business user was placing ads here on A&C without paying the ad fee....it annoyed me just as much as it does you.
As I have said before I emailed MN HQ before my site went live to discus my concerns that eventually my site would be linked here....just as the many other arts and craft sites are frequently....I guess it was inevitable that it would happen....some of the A&C gals have been my rocks of support over the last few months and have been there from the start of my dream....Ive seen and read all the threads started here congratulating me on the business and the service we offer but will not reply on the boards because I dont want to be accused of the threads being "set up"
I have asked that if anyone has any queries or comments regarding the site that they email direct and not post on the boards here...again I have no control over who does what, where, when and why.
I love MN and want to be able to use it as my eascape from working life...it has always been my "me" time and wish for it to remain so.
MN has been my lifeline through some of the darkest days of my life and without the support of many of the gals on the SN board I would not have fought and won the battles I did to secure J a school placement.
I appreciate as a small business that it must be annoying for you seeing the big boys getting free publicity....maybe MN HQ should have a rethink on their linking policies....no links to non sponsors...links that are placed are pulled by moderators??? Works on some of the biggest sites I use...so cant see why it wouldnt work here.
