chicken costumes

We are doing an Easter play and we have 4 spring chickens. We well I need to make some easy costumes. Any ideas on how to make 4 costumes. Easy ideas please. Thanks

My sister sent her DS to a do as a chicken with his red-indian headress (sorry not PC, but that's what it was) round his waist and a mask printed off the internet.

Not that realistic, but effective enough on little ones.

Paint paper plates red, fold in quarters and attach to elastic for a beak. Some kind of blown up rubber glove thing for crown. Feather boa each. Wear yellow.
