what size are your cards?

Mine tend to be either C6 or DL size but some people are requesting A5 size when ordering their cards from me, which is fine, BUT I can not find nice A5 envelopes or A5 cellophane bags anywhere :( - well at a reasonable price anyway.

Any ideas?

I tend to make mostly A5 now. I get my card from The Paper Mill and fold it myself with an accucrease (sp?) board. I get envelopes and poly bags from Craft Creations, but Ideal Envelopes are also very good so I am told.

I usually buy in 500 at a time to get them the best price, then they sit in a drawer in their poly bag and I use them 1 by 1.

I do actually need to buy some more in soon, so if you (or anyone else) are interested in sharing the bulk price and P&P let me know.

I get my envelopes on ebay, the A5 ones anyway.

My cards were always c5, but altely far more A5 or I have done a few pyramid ones (the docrafts derivative ones), I'm not convinced though TBH. Been using a lot of pearlescent blanks too.

i make a combination of a5, AND c6 plus the odd DL one thrown in for good measure Grin

I buy the cards from the local craft shop or fold card from the Paper Mill. The cello bags I get in bulk from a seller on Ebay

I will say it again, PDA Card & craft, can't recommend them enough. Their envelopes are lovely and if you are making loads of A5 cards, very cheap. It works out cheap for me as I make a lot of my A5 cards out of packs of canon 200gsm A4 card. Like photocopying paper but card. I picked up 8 reams at an auction for 8.00 BARGAIN!!! Word of warning though, they do 2 sizes of envelope very similar. One of them you have to cut off a bit of your card, to fit in. The ones I buy are 229mm x 158mm. It really is worth buying 200, you will use them eventually and if you keep them stored properly they don't go yellow. Good luck

Forgot to add I pretty much only make A5 cards now & Tall ones 16 x 9cm, they do let you mix sizes IIRC.
