I accidentally did this pattern:
K2,p2 until the end (on even number of stitches)
Turn then p2,k2 until the end.

Is it Double Seed Stitch?

If you get long vertical ridges of knit then purl it's called Rib. If you get little squares then it used to be called Moss Stitch in my day but seems to be called seed stitch quite often nowadays. I assume this is an Americanism.

I was going to say a variation on moss stitch too Grin

It looks like a double seed stitch.
So what is a rib stitch then? Is that p2,k2 on every row?

If you're knitting all the knit stitches and purling all the purl ones, then it's rib (or 2x2 rib). If you do two rows of the same stitch then two rows of alternate then it's double moss stitch. If single rows of alternate then it's seed or moss stitch.
