Glass painting, does anyone else do it?

I've really got into glass painting over the last couple of months. A couple of friends go to a class and asked me to go so I gave it a try and now I'm hooked.
The class is every week so we're building up a fair collection. I've given some away and will give some more as gifts too.
Last night I decorated a glass vase that I bought in Morrison's for £1.99. It was for my Mam for Mother's day and she loved it. I put roses in it too. Plus she got other things but she did like the personal touch.
A pic of it's on my profile.

I thought it'd be really difficult to do but it isn't. I do it freehand as I like it to be my own design but others seem to put stencils inside. I like to paint anyway so it doesn't faze me. Plus I prefer the 'homemade' look iykwim?

I've done it at home. DS painted glass tealight holders for christmas presents for family. I painted 2 champagne flutes. They look quite homemade! I like your rose.

I bet your family will treasure those.

I make stained glass and sometimes paint on that, but that's a different kettle of fish as it needs firing and you can never be sure how it'll turn out - but that's part of the fun.
Have you ever tried that curious?
