Any Knitters have a good way...

...of storing their double pointed needles and keeping the right sizes together etc? I currently keep all my knitting stuff in a drawstring bag and the sets of double pointed needles in the packaging they came in, but they are getting quite tattered now and the plastic is coming away from the back so they fall out and get all mixed up :(
I like everything to be all neat and ordered! Has anyone come up with a good system?

I elasic band each set of 4 and store in a bag with a needle size tester thing.

Ooh, maybe I should get one of those needle size testers! And also, do circular needles live with double pointed or straight needles? Or do they have a place all of their own? (way too much time on my hands...)

They live in the size"loops" they came in (ordered a set of 44 from the internet). I have a plan to make a needle roll dpn size and embosser sizes above each pocket. maybe when baby ds leaves home

skibun you can buy the rolls on eBay, Folksy or Not on the High Street quite easily. Lots of people make them, I had one in the bottom of my box for a long time, never used, until I got DPN's and realised how handy it is.
