what should a beginner make from hobbycraft materials

HI, I have some hobbycraft vouchers, I like making things but am a beginner. what should I try to make?

That is too big a question! My personal answer is everything as I find it hard to choose :)

What kind of things do you like doing?

Nothing requiring talent at sewing, painting or drawing!

LOL. How about Decopatch where you buy special paper and stick bits onto a cardboard 3D shape. No real talent involved and Hobbycraft sell all the stuff :) You can decorate boxes, shapes, letters... all sorts of stuff.

I have seen those but always think they look like kids did them!
