Hi,

I have found an ebay seller who has Star Wars material. I want to make my son an envelope cushion cover for a 18" by 18" cushion. How many fat quarters will I need...... I'm just learning so will need some extra for mistakes!

Thanks

Beth

A fat quarter is usually 18" x 22 ".

You'll need three then - although the 18" side will be a bit tight as you'll need to take seams into account.

Firstly, make sure that the seller does not send you 3 x 1 fat quarters, then ask if you could have .75 of a metre and then you will have plenty of fabric to make your cushion. :)
