fabricrehab.co.uk this place has gorgeous fabrics but expensive!

patchworkchick · 26/02/2013 15:06

Try www.raystitch.co.uk and www.sewbox.co.uk, dittofabrics.co.uk are good online shops. www.clothkits.co.uk is great too, but more kits than fabrics.

TheWombat · 26/02/2013 15:10

Oh orangepudding you have done a very bad thing to my bank balance... Blush

flubba · 26/02/2013 20:52

orangepudding you owe me and thewombat a lot of money!! :o The fabrics there are truly gorgeous! I only wanted some red gingham!

rockinhippy · 26/02/2013 21:08

[http://www.fabricland.co.uk/] for cheap & cheerful stuff, but some nice bits & peices at bargain prices

rockinhippy · 26/02/2013 21:08

Sorry! What did you buy?

BlueSkySunnyDay · 26/02/2013 23:13

Ohh patchwork I looked at Ditto last week, some really nice fabrics - have you used them are they ok.

Will have a mooch at the others too - thanks so much, need to brush the dust off my sewing machine!

Do have a look at fabricland as rockin says, but do not be put off by their awwwwwwwful website! Truly hideous (but they're clearly not wasting money on it :o)

rockinhippy · 27/02/2013 09:39

Oh god yes, it's got to be the worst website I've ever seen flubba, gives me a headache just looking at it [ confused* thankfully we've got a shop here, or I'd probably never get past the front page & buy anything Grin - I do love the shop though & have often found stuff in there, that they are also selling in Ditto at double the price, so its always my first port of call

BlueSkySunnyDay · 27/02/2013 19:04

LOL I know and have used fabricland, they have a couple of branches in places I visit occasionally. Agree their website is apalling and, at the risk of sounding grouchy, the staff often seem more interested in each other than their customers...but, if there is a bargain to be had, I will look again Grin

Abakhan is often mentioned on these kind of threads.

I've also had some great fabric from assorted eBay sellers.

Tw1nkle · 28/02/2013 16:04

I just Love:

ohsewcrafty.co.uk/

Plus, they have an Ebay account too.

HalleLouja · 01/03/2013 14:43

The village haberdashery have some swoonsome fabrics.

HalleLouja · 01/03/2013 14:50

This thread could cost me a lot of money.

BlueSkySunnyDay · 02/03/2013 16:11

Sorry about that Grin
