Hello lovely crafty people - I have an outdoor market coming up and want to be able to weight down the gazebo - what do you use for yours? I've found these (ugly!) white plastic ones for £22 incl. delivery which seem quite a decent price compared with other shops, but interested to know your views or if anyone uses anything different?

Are there no loops for putting tent pegs in or do they just pull out?

There are loops and pegs but I'll be on pavements or tarmac so need something freestanding.

Is there much material at the bottom - so you could put a brick on it. We use tent pegs but thats not going to work on pavements Grin I just had a look at your pics - what lovely stuff - I'm off to check out your blog

Oh dear - now I've got to add to my to make list:
hobby horse
wigwam
cute baby slippers
and a roman blind Wink

:o Thanks dothraki :)

Maybe I could just make some chunky doorstops?! The ones I make weigh about 1.5Kg, so maybe a few of them will be good enough - I kind of like the idea of my weights looking pretty Blush
