Drawstring bags; how to make simply?

I want to make the above as Christmas stockings for my DC; trouble is, I am clueless and not very gifted! Can anyone steer me in the right direction do you think? Thank you.

If you look on pinterest for drawstring bag tutorials there are loads. For eg: obsessivelystitching.blogspot.co.uk/2009/09/drawstring-bags-tutorial.html.

Agree there are lots of tutorials if you look. My top tip would be to make a lined bag - so much easier than finishing lots of seams.
