Does anyone know a really easy pattern for a baby ball

I can do a hat. So think I should manage a ball! Really easy to start with though (beginner hooker here). All the ones I've seen so far look a bit complicated!

Oops. Should have put crochet in the title.

Hi belinda, the easy way to do one is work in the round like if you're making a hat. Do a few rounds without increases (these rows will be the middle of the ball) then follow the pattern for the increases at the beginning but decrease instead. Stuff the ball when you've only got a few rounds left and make it nice and tight. I hope this helps and makes sense!

I find the best way to find crochet patterns is to Google image search...

so I searched for 'crochet ball pattern free' and found these... any good?

www.kundhi.com/blog/2010/10/11/tiny-crochet-ball-pattern/ - might be a bit small.

www.roxycraft.com/crochet_play_ball.htm - bit of pattern to play with
