im a bit thick, but i just dont understand uks

i cant find anything. it all seems soooo complicated.
and all those flashy light things....
om obviously a complete web virgin.

and everyone else seems to know sooo much. i just do cutting and sticking. as cod calls it.
why cant i use my pritt stick? cant seem tofind an answer to it, but hear lots of confusing stuff about knowing your adhsives. wtf?

i do use my pritt stick I can't afford to get papers/albums/page protecters etc that are acid/lignin free and as my scrapbooks are just for me and usually just paper copies of photos (digi camera so uploaded straight to pc) then i don't see a prob.

altho i dunno what uks is lol!

if i could afford it i would buy properl adhesives (double sided tape can only do so much!) and i would get proper paper too but i have to make do with what i have at mo

i have just been sticking the actual photos on. i thought the damage the photos would get by lying around, getting crushed etc would be far more than any acid lignin stuff? most of my photos are just stuffed around the place really.

I registered with UKS a couple of days ago and totally agree with you! I'm sure it's great when you get started but the very fact that you need to be "adopted" just to work out what to do put me off slightly. In saying that, I will no doubt snoop around until I'm hopelessly addicted!
The glue you use for your scrapbook should be acid/lignin free so that it lasts for years and years and doesn't ruin your precious photos!

as opposed to the wonderful care and attention dc give the photos when they whip them round and round demanding why they are not in the photo, and refusing to udnerstand it was taken X years before they were born?

if you do figure it out, please explain to me too.
