Art materials for a Tee Shirt?

Help, please!

DD wants to draw/paint a design on a white T shirt as a Christmas present for a friend. We have masses of Art materials at home, and I thought we had some crayons for this somewhere, but cannot find them now. Is there anything I can make from thinks like Acrylic paint/ oil pastels/ PVA/ oil paint/ gauche/ or whatever which would work as well as fabric paints/crayons, and iron in and then stay unsmudged when washed?

Does anyone have a great recipe for this before I fork out more cash on something that will get used once for what's turning out to be a pricey gift?

Ah that could work...Especially as we have surgical spirit already too (British for rubbing alcohol).

Thanks!
