im quite arty and crafty but just can't seem to think of any ideas of what i could possibly make from home to sell, just small little bits to make a bit of extra pocket money.

really struggling for ideas. have lots of debts i need to pay off and this seems like the most simple of ways to do it but need some inspiration...

pine furnature, sanded and painted in farrow and ball> Seems to sell quite well on ebay.

Make up bags, pencil cases, cushion covers, tote bags, phone / kindle pouches, drawstring bags, Xmas decorations (may be a bit late to get started but if you can rustle some up quick you might sell a few). If you can get hold of some fleece fabric maybe hats, mittens and scarves. Jewellery rolls, knitting needle rolls, cot quilts, lavender bags. If you have some oilcloth, folding changing mats (thank Kirstie Allsopp for that one).

And then there's all manner of knitted / crocheted items, but those take longer. The ones I've listed are mostly sewing machine projects so would be a bit quicker, some could be hand-sewn if you don't have a machine.

Those bandana bibs sell well, and are the easiest thing to make ever. They sell for about £5 each in shops Shock

cushions, stitched pictures....but for a hgher margin I d go for upcycling stuff from charity shops eg china, frames etc - I tarted up a frame once and have had requests...it only took about an hour from start to finish. You could do similar...

Bandana bibs are great, especially bigger ones for disabled kids, could sell via special needs groups on facebook

Ooh didn't think of that, but great idea Redgate. They're so quick to make as well!
