Your weirdest knit?

I was just remembering the time when I was a bit bored and decided to erm upcycle some bits of old string in unuseable lengths into a dish scourer. Not only that, dear reader, but it was double-sided, one purple side made of softish hessiany string, the other made from bits of much harsher standard string-coloured stuff. So, a double-sided knitted scouring pad.

Was tough on the fingers, that knit.

So come on then, confess all- what's your weirdest knit ever?

I am experimenting with plarn. Great fun.

I tried to knit a rug made of old sheets and curtains i failed but its still a good idea honest. Now where did i put those 20mm needles.

I have made a shopping bag knitted from strips made out of old carrier bags.

I have also made knitted breasts for the local hospital

My natural birth teacher had a knitted uterus. I would love to make one but I don't really need one.

My DCs school has a knitted intestine that comes out every open evening. I think I would have got bored doing the large intestine.

I made a sperm once, he was very cute

My MIL has knitted several scrubbing brushes as gifts for my own DCs and schools that I have taught in.

I have made tons of knitted boobs for NCT, I find joy in handing over the most bizarre coloured boobies to the course leader.

They found me a pattern for a placenta and umbilical cord...

Oo, my weirdest knit is a pair of handcuffs. Here
I was bored, looking on Lovehoney and thought that it would be fun to knit a pair. Couldn't find a pattern so designed one! I started redesigning it with a second pair but Christmas knitting got in the way!

Though the reactions I've had from telling people I knit an Ankylosaurus were some of the more entertaining reactions I've ever had to a knitting project!
